Friends, it’s time to vote from home on the DNR’s Annual Wisconsin Conservation Congress Survey!
Voting starts at 7:00 PM on MONDAY 4/12 and continues for 72 hours, ending on THURSDAY 4/15 at 7:00 PM.
There are proposals affecting clean waterways, carbon emissions, wildlife, otter trapping, white deer hunting, trespass authority (important), hounding that could kill nesting birds etc. The Wisconsin Conservation Congress (WCC) needs to hear from all concerned citizens, not just those who seek to exploit it.
PLEASE, PLEASE vote and encourage your family and friends to vote as well. It only takes a few minutes. Anyone can vote, including kids and out-of-state residents! You do not have to vote on each proposal.
MOST IMPORTANT ITEMS TO VOTE ON ARE OUR RESOLUTIONS ABOUT KILLING CONTESTS, HOUNDING, WOLF HUNTING, BEAR BAITING ETC.
Some questions may be tricky and confusing. If you need help understanding anything, email us at msmith@wiwolvesandwildlife.org and we can give you our interpretation of the question. We cannot advise you how to vote, we can only provide you an explanation of the question posed. Thank you for being a voice for creatures unable to advocate for themselves.
