JANUARY NEWSLETTER 2023

A Note from our Executive Director

Happy New Year! As we look forward to the possibilities of 2023, let’s take a moment to celebrate the wildlife that we are so fortunate to share our planet with. Wolves, in particular, are an incredible species that have been unfairly persecuted and misunderstood for centuries. That’s why it is so important that we advocate for their conservation and protection. Along with that in mind, we invite you to join our organization, attend our Fireside Chats and subscribe to our monthly newsletters to stay informed about the latest news and research regarding wolves, and how you can continue to play an active part in the fight for their survival.

Throughout the year, we also hope you will pledge to attend a Natural Resources Board meeting and learn more about the measures the agency is taking to protect wildlife and their habitatsโ€ฆor lack thereof.

To kick off the new year, we are excited to announce our plans for Wildlife Day at the Capitol 2023! Please SAVE THE DATE and plan to join us in our state capitol where we will speak with our local representatives about the importance of natural resources and conservation.

Thank you for joining us in advocating for the well-being of these majestic creatures and all wildlife in Wisconsin. Here’s to a brand new year and many more victories for wolves and wildlife to come!

Wildlife Day at the Capitol is back! We are excited for the return of our most impactful day of the year. Mark your calendars for March 15, 2023 and stay tuned for details coming soon…!

Thanks to ALL of your generous donations during our year-end fundraising campaign, we are thrilled to announce that we EXCEEDED our goal! Hundreds of friends like you helped FOTWW meet a generous matching grant of $25,000.

Give yourself a congratulatory howl today, as your donation will allow us to continue educating, organizing and speaking up for the wild ones who have no voice. Your generosity will help wolves in Wisconsin and across the country as we continue to advocate for protections for wolves everywhere.
