Today, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources said that they have no known date at this time for bringing forward the new wolf management plan, which still needs to be updated from the current 1999 antiquated plan.

The unregulated harassment and torture of Wisconsin wildlife has officially begun. Over 4th of July weekend, more than 15,000 bear hounds will be set loose on public lands across Wisconsin to harass wildlife and disturb the peace of our natural areas.
We are sorry to be reaching out to you after the tragic events that took place in Texas last week. As everyone deals with their respective sadness and anger over the senseless violence, we hope you are able to find the space you need to cope and remember the goodness of the world.ย
In place this week's regularly scheduled Fireside Chat, we hope you can join us tomorrow evening @ 7PM CST for the annual celebration of our nation's wildlife and wild places!
TODAY IS THE DAY: Tweet or call to save our gray wolves! Join our phone jam to tie up Secretary Haaland and President Biden's lines all day long with calls and tweets about wolves urging them to stand up for whatโs right, listen to the American public, and relist wolves as an endangered species.
This Earth Day, help us keep wolves safe inย Wisconsin and the Great Lakes region. Your dedication allows us to continueย organizing and advocating for the strongest protections for gray wolves.
We have already accomplished so much in 2022, sending in resolutions to the Wisconsin Conservation Congress, meeting with state and federal lawmakers and staying informed. We have protected most of the wolves in our country and helped wildlife in peril just not in our backyards but nationally as well.
