The unregulated harassment and torture of Wisconsin wildlife has officially begun. Over 4th of July weekend, more than 15,000 bear hounds will be set loose on public lands across Wisconsin to harass wildlife and disturb the peace of our natural areas.

After Animal Wellness Action offered a $10,000 reward for info leading to the successful prosecution of wolf poachers in the state last week, Hunters for Wolves felt that they would like to see that pool of money increase in order to bring attention to the illegal poaching of wildlife.

STATE JUDGE ISSUES “DRAMATIC DECISION” IN STRIKING DOWN WISCONSIN WOLF HUNT

In the biggest news so far for wolf protection in the United States in 2021, a court in Wisconsin issued an injunction today requiring the Wisconsin DNR to set the quota at zero wolves for the upcoming wolf trophy hunt scheduled to start November 6th. The decision could spare hundreds of wolves targeted for killing.
