PRESS RELEASE: WISCONSIN DNR DELAYS WOLF MANAGEMENT PLAN

Today, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources said that they have no known date at this time for bringing forward the new wolf management plan, which still needs to be updated from the current 1999 antiquated plan.

PRESS RELEASE: Wildlife Conservation Groups Ask Court to Issue Immediate Injunction Against November Wolf Hunt

Today lawyers for Friends of the Wisconsin Wolf & Wildlife, Animal Wellness Action, the Center for a Humane Economy, Project Coyote and Wisconsin resident Pat Clark filed new motions with the Dane County Circuit Court in their ongoing challenge to Wisconsinโ€™s disastrous decision-making on wolf management.

PRESS RELEASE: Conservation Groups Sue Wisconsin Natural Resources Board to Stop Illegal November Wolf Hunt

Today Animal Wellness Action, the Center for a Humane Economy, Friends of the Wisconsin Wolf and Wildlife, and Project Coyote sued the state of Wisconsin over its reckless and politically motivated decision to authorize a quota of 300 wolves for the November wolf hunt, on top of the 218 known killed in a February hunt.

ACTION ALERT: Wolf Harvest Committee Meeting Comments Due by June 18th!

Your written comments to the Wolf Harvest Committee must be submitted by noon on Friday, June 18th. This committee will decide a quota for the fall hunt to be presented to the Natural Resources Board in August.ย
