We have already accomplished so much in 2022, sending in resolutions to the Wisconsin Conservation Congress, meeting with state and federal lawmakers and staying informed. We have protected most of the wolves in our country and helped wildlife in peril just not in our backyards but nationally as well.
Last week we attended the Ron Johnson and USFWS public hearing on national wolf delisting - here's what happened....
Nowhere in the Public Hearing was there mention of the critically important role the wolf plays in keeping our deer herd healthy.
Yesterday, Wisconsin State Representatives circulated a bill which would make it illegal for law enforcement to enforce state or federal law relating to management of wolves in Wisconsin.
